Joint Replacement

Degenerative conditions of the knee and hip cause pain and disability. Treated early, further deterioration may be drastically slowed by the appropriate use of physical therapy, medications or injections. Some surgical procedures restore function with replacing the joint. However, at some point, joint replacement (arthroplasty) becomes the most reasonable solution to restore mobility and function, while decreasing or eliminating pain. Our surgeons use a combination of techniques, such a "smaller incision" or "minimally-invasive" knee replacement, partial knee replacement, muscle-sparing hip replacement or hip resurfacing.  These advanced techniques are not for everyone. Our specialists will determine which procedure is best for you, to allow the restoration of function with the safest and easiest recovery.
