Thomas Peatman, M.D.

 Dr. Peatman came to the Bay Area for undergraduate
studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He then received his
Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Irvine. He
completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopaedic
Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He joined the US Navy
during residency and served on active duty for five years after
residency. He served in Naples, Italy; Pensacola, Florida, and
Jacksonville, Florida.
He returns to Oakland with his wife, a
native of the area, and his son. Dr. Peatman’s training and experience
give him particular expertise in arthroscopy and sports medicine; hip
and knee replacements; and trauma. He also provides comprehensive
general orthopaedic care including hand, foot and pediatric orthopaedics.
Dr. Peatman is affiliated with Summit
Medical Center, Alta Bates Medical Center, and San Ramon Regional
Medical Center.
