William A. Billings, M.D.

Extremity
Dr. Billings attended Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. After early
training in General Surgery, he decided to pursue residency training in
Orthopaedic Surgery and completed his training at Duke University in
Durham, North Carolina.
Following service in the U.S. Navy, Dr.
Billings was a visiting Fellow in hand surgery at a Hospital,
Gothenburg, Sweden. He completed his hand fellowship at Thomas Jefferson
University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Billings has been in private practice
in Oakland since 1973. He specializes in surgery and disorders of the
hand and upper extremity. Current Hospital affiliations include Summit
Medical Center, Children's Hospital in Oakland, Alameda Hospital and
Highland Hospital.
